Denise M. Mills, O.D.

Dr. Mills is a 1996 alumna of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She is licensed by the Alabama Board of Optometry for general practice and the treatment and management of ocular disease. She opened her private practice, Millbrook Eyecare, in July, 1997.

Dr Mills has been treating patients of all ages in the tri-county area for more than 13 years. She is highly skilled in examination techniques needed for pediatric patients, specialty contact lens fittings, and for the physically and mentally chalanged. She manages eye care for diabetic patients and provides status reports for their primary care physician. Appropriate referrals and co-management with local surgeons is also provided when a specialist is needed for consulation or treatment of eye disease.

Prescribing the best eyeglasses for patient needs has always been an important part of her examinations. Dr Mills owns the optical and has an ABO certified labortory to provide the best eyewear possible. Many contact lenses are stocked for prompt fittings.

Dr Mills also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University and worked at The Children's Hospital of Alabama 1989-1994.

Bryan T. Holman, O.D.

Dr. Bryan Holman graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated with honors in his respective degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before going on to complete his doctor of optometry degree at UAB School of Optometry.

During optometry school, Dr. Holman was a member of Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity. As a part of this organization, he helped to provide much needed eye care to patients with little or no access to healthcare, both in the United States and the Dominican Republic. Dr. Holman works with patients of all ages and has a special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease. He has ample training in treating/managing: glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, red eyes and many other ocular diseases.

He lives with his wife, Dr. Crisse Holman; daughter, Emma, and son ,Zach in Montgomery. Dr. Holman enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, traveling, and being a part of their church family.

Mrs. Kim Smith,CPO, Office Manager

Kim has been the office manager at Millbrook Eyecare since 1998. She is also directly involved with patients and staff to maintain standards of care. Kim began her paraoptometric career in 1992. She has updated office technology and continues to keep Millbrook Eyecare progressive.

Mrs. Tara Levchik, CPO

Tara has been with Millbrook eyecare for 5 years. She has worked in the field of opthalmology for the past 11 years. Tara is your point of contact when scheduling appointments for exams and for eyewear. She can also answer any question about the insurance plans that we can file on your behalf.

Mrs. Lisa Grier, Optician

Lisa has been with Millbrook Eyecare for 1 year. She can assist you with all your optical needs from helping you select a new frame to any adjustment you may need.

Mrs. Christie Blackmon, CPO

Christie is the newest member of Millbrook Eyecare.
She assist the doctor with all the patient workups and special testing. She can also assist you with any of your contact lens needs.

Mrs. Amy Sayer

Amy is also a new member of Millbrook Eyecare. She can assist you with billing, appointments, and also assist you with your glasses selection.
